Peran Mediasi Motivasi Kerja dalam Pengaruh Knowledge Sharing, Organizational Support, dan Work Life Balance Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Gen Z

This research aims to analyze and determine the mediating role of work motivation in the influence of knowledge sharing, organizational support and work life balance on the work productivity of Gen Z (Study of Hotel and Restaurant Employees in Jember). The sample for this research was 85 hotel and restaurant employees in Jember aged 18 - 27 years and semi-structured interviews to gain deeper insight. Researchers conducting correlational studies measure or evaluate the variables involved. In causal research, the causal hypothesis aims to determine whether changes in one variable cause changes in another. Data analysis used to test the hypothesis in this research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-Structural Equation Modeling), using the Smart PLS program package. The research results show that knowledge sharing, organizational support, and work life balance have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Work life balance and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Meanwhile, knowledge sharing and organizational support do not have a significant effect on work productivity. Knowledge sharing and organizational support have a positive and significant effect on work productivity through the mediation of work motivation. Meanwhile, work life balance does not have a significant effect on work productivity through the mediation of work motivation. The R-square value of the work motivation construct is 0.740 where 74.0% of the variability of changes in work motivation can be explained by the variables of knowledge sharing, organizational support, work life balance. Furthermore, the R-square value of the work productivity construct is 0.843 where 84.3% of the variability of changes in work productivity can be explained by the variables of knowledge sharing, organizational support, work life balance, and work motivation.
