Sustainable tourism is an essential strategy for maintaining a balance between environmental conservation, community empowerment, and economic growth. The Tourism Village of the Gunung Padang Site in Cianjur Regency, West Java, is a national cultural heritage area with rich historical and mythological narratives, yet the number of tourist visits has not shown a significant increase. This study aims to identify sustainable tourism development patterns based on storynomics and analyze their influence on tourist interest by employing a mixed-methods approach through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaire distribution, which were analyzed using scoring techniques and linear regression with SPSS software. The results show that the environmental aspect achieved a score of 78% (good category), while socio-cultural (72%), economic (65%), and institutional aspects (68%) were in the adequate category, indicating that environmental preservation efforts have been relatively well implemented, although the integration of local narratives into tourism products and institutional collaboration still require strengthening. Regression analysis demonstrates that sustainable tourism development based on storynomics has a significant influence on tourist interest, contributing 50.2%. These findings emphasize that tourists seek not only physical attractions but also emotional experiences derived from local stories and culture, suggesting that storynomics tourism can be an effective strategy to enhance destination appeal and visitor numbers while ensuring the sustainability of the Gunung Padang Tourism Village.
